Grant County,
population 17,493, is in central Arkansas, containing 633
square miles. Sheridan is the county seat and the Saline
River flows through the county. Grant County was formed in
1869 and named for Ulysses S. Grant, U.S. president. Major
highways are U.S. 167 and 270. Located in timber country, just
south of Little Rock, it is a vibrant and growing place,
with an award-winning museum, wonderful schools, beautiful
homes, a golf course and some of the best hunting and fishing Arkansas has
to offer. We love being here and calling this our home.
