Welcome to the website of the Grant County Sheriff’s Office. Having a website for the office is an attempt to further expand our efforts to reach citizens and remain proactive in all our community.
By keeping the website going that former Sheriff Lance Huey started we hope to continue keeping the citizens of Grant County informed and give each person who logs on the site a chance to respond back to us. The website has proven to be a very useful way of keeping the lines of communications open and I hope the public will continue to use it.
As interim Sheriff of Grant County it has been a pleasure coming in and finding many good practices in place. I hope to be able to offer some continuity by encouraging the staff of the Sheriff and Collectors offices to continue the excellent work they have been performing.
The new facilities that we now work from are modern, thanks to the Quorum Courts involvement and the sales tax voted in by the citizens of Grant County. Most of our daily procedures have now been automated. This has helped to eliminate some duplication of work and has coordinated communications between the Sheriff’s office and the District Court Clerk. We will soon be adding the capabilities to pay fines and court cost using credit or debit cards.
We encourage every one to visit our website and learn what your sheriff’s office is doing to protect and serve the citizens of Grant County. If you have any suggestions on how we might improve or expand this means of communications feel free to contact us and let us know.
If you’re out side Grant County and viewing this website please come visit and see all the great things Grant County has to offer. We are a growing community, just 30 minutes south of Little Rock, with a first class museum, wonderful school system, beautiful new homes, and a nice, nine hole golf course. It is certainly a pleasure to live and work in Grant County
